The Parkersville Mountain Gazette

Photo Contest

Winners of the 2024 Parkersville Mountain Gazette Photo Contest

This year's theme was 'Abandoned Parkersville'

The winners of the photo contest have submitted interesting and inspiring images. Their photographs show an incredible eye for composition and an appreciation for the unique beauty found in everyday moments. They have managed to capture the perfect lighting, the perfect moment, and a certain feeling in the image with their art. Their winning photographs show their creative vision, patience, and their passion for photography. After much anticipation, the judges narrowed the selections down to 3 exceptional photographs. Each of these amazing photos captured something unique and meaningful and the judges had a tough time choosing the top three. We've also included the top three Runner Ups. For the third year in a row it was a clean sweep by students from Parkersville High represented by the PHS Photo Club. Faculty advisor Karl Bassy has his hands full with such a talented group kids.

Congratulations to the winners. Your stunning photos have shown skill, creativity, and a real eye for beauty. We are so impressed by your talent and excited to have these photos on display for all to enjoy! Congratulations again, and thank you for showcasing your artistry in this contest.
